I have SQL 2000 and have been running it for quite some time without any
problems. A few days ago I have noticed that it seems to be using all the
available CPU and it really slowing down the server. I cant understand why
it is doing this.
I have tried stopping and starting and also restarting the computer but
nothing works.
Does anyone know how I could work out why it is doing this?It could be the slammer virus. Are you on sp3? Also, is it the SQL Server
process that is using 100% CPU?
